"The Snowshoe Inn was perfect for what I needed: a clean, safe easy place to stay on a quick pass through Frisco, Colorado. While the property is older compared to modern chrome and glass hotels, this has a spacious room, extremely clean bathroom, a nice little kitchenette, and was easy to park right next to the room and get in and out, including having a quick complementary breakfast bite in the morning before departing. The front desk staff were very pleasant both on check-in and check out. The internet worked well. The bed was extremely comfortable. During a hot summer season there was nice air-conditioning and a good breeze. Everything was well appointed. I also appreciate that they do not use single use plastics in the bathroom. This reminds me of the motels I stayed in for skiing when I was a kid. For the price and comparable surroundings, this was a very good value, and I would stay there again no question!"
"Breakfast was great. Outside door on far end of the front of the building never locked. Day staff awesome, some of night staff no so great - almost rude. Parking was great."
"Room was nice, clean and had a window on 2 different walls making it bright, one had cushions for a kind of reading nook or mini bed like for a child sized or small adult person and one had view of mountain. Multiple sturdy coat hooks on wall near entrance which was nice. small fridge and microwave oven in room. Portable AC unit on floor in room was loud but it was nice and cool. on the main drag so shops and restaurants on same street and bike rentals next door.
Kind of a interesting place in that there is noone at desk most of the time. Entrance to the building is via a code you punch in to get in / out of hotel front and back doors and a separate 6 digit code to get into your room. Sometimes doors are unlocked and sometimes not so HAVE to remember the long codes or write them down. I,d prefer a key.
Also has as refrigerator with canned sodas and drinks in lobby, coffee tea etc. 3 floors but No Elevator! Have to pay $15.00 for parking and place a placard on your dash or they will tow car and return placard before leaving to a drop box at back door."
"Our family enjoyed the larger-than-average, heated, indoor hotel pool, and the outdoor hot tub. There are many beautiful and thoughtful common areas, including the bar/cafe, outdoor seating & games patio, and the firepit by the outdoor hot tub. Our room was spacious, clean, and had comfortable mattresses that didn't feel like we were sleeping on rocks! The Continental breakfast was delicious and worth the extra charge. Also, this hotel is just two blocks from the Frisco Transit Center, where the statewide Bustang buses stop, as well as the free, local Summit buses. We took a Summit bus to downtown Frisco and had a fantastic dinner at 5th Avenue Grille. We will definitely stay at the AC Hotel again!"
