"The building and the staff were great! Such a cute property and a really nice room. Only downside was that it was pretty loud due to traffic noise outside (and an early morning party in the parking lot next door). But the staff and amenities were really top notch, and breakfast was very tasty both days!"

"I stayed at the Norfolk Waterside Marriott from 5/20/26-5/22/26. I was attending a Women’s Conference at the Hilton one block away. I was checked in with a smile by Felecia who gave me info on different restaurants and convenience stores nearby. The room was clean, and comfortable with an amazing view of the river. "The mattress was terrible, with 2 twin mattresses on a queen frame. There were hard bumps throughout the mattress, making it impossible to find a good comfortable spot. The wallpaper was peeling.
