I had a very nice stay at Pensión Úbeda in Fuenmayor. I received a warm welcome, along with helpful tips and brochures about nearby options and things to do. I had to stay one extra day, sooner than planned, and the hostess arranged the additional night without any issues. There are many vineyards nearby, and I even received a brochure with several places to visit, including contacts and prices. The hostess also mentioned she was available by phone or WhatsApp if needed. The pension has one parking spot right in front of the entrance. If it’s occupied, there is plenty of space along the street next to the pension. It’s a small town with very light traffic. The entire place and the room were very clean. Garbage was picked up daily, and the bathroom was spacious. There is a local grocery store in town, as well as a couple of clothing stores. There are also 3–4 cafés within a very short walking distance where you can have breakfast, eat, relax, or enjoy a drink. Some local restaurants are nearby as well. ATMs are also within walking distance, in case you need to withdraw cash. Pensión Úbeda is just one block from downtown, so everything in Fuenmayor is close by. For more facilities or a more “city life” experience, Logroño is about 13.5 km away. I would definitely visit again and recommend it. Thanks!

Creo que no se puede pedir más respecto a la relación calidad-precio. Muy bien en general ,limpio, cuidan los detalles .Por poner algún pero , algún problemilla con la señal wifi y con las luces del pasillo que a veces no detectaban el movimiento y no se encendían. Muy recomendable

Bastante bien en general, pero detalles mejorables

En general todo bien, habitacion comoda, hotel bien comunicado cerca de la carretera, se aparca sin problemas... Tiene detalles que se podrian mejorar fácilmente y no se hace, como la cortina de la ducha que se sale el agua e inunda el suelo, o la alcachofa que se resbala y no se puede sujetar y hay que sostenerla con una mano... Pero para ser una pension y su precio, todo excelente.

Il est vrai que l'apparence extérieure ne donne pas vraiment envie de franchir le seuil, mais une fois la porte d'entrée ouverte, l'odeur de propre nous rassure, ainsi que l'état des lieux, charmant, décoré, bien entretenu. Ensuite l'accueil de l'hôtesse, ses efforts pour nous expliquer que voir et comment nous y rendre malgré la barrière de la langue. Nous avons eu la chambre 26, donnant sur l'arrière, calme, vue dégagée Nous y retournerons pour approfondir notre connaissance des environs

Big disappointment

We accidentally booked room without private bathroom, phoned up to change that and the lady on the other end of the phone was so rude we almost cancelled, should have as it happened. We pointed out the price via ebookers was much cheaper than the one she was suggesting but in the end were too lazy to cancell and look elsewhere. We arrived and she couldn't have been nicer, didn't give us a receipt but offered advise re sightseeing which we took. It was hot and sunny so we turned off the radiator in the room. When we came back it was evening and cool, we switched the radiator back on - nothing! Mentioned it to her on the way out for dinner and she wasn't interested. Met people who had booked at the same place who walked out and went elsewhere because she had been so rude, we thought they were a bit hasty until we returned and the room was freezing and once again explained there was no heating in the room which was very cold now. Miserable cold night- we'd never go again.

Pensión con encanto

Sorprende al entrar en un edificio humilde, una pensión con una decoración naïf, una joven y amable propietaria que te agasaja con un vino de la tierra mientras hace la ficha. Ya en la sencilla y limpísima habitación descansamos en una cómoda cama con buenas almohadas y sin un ruido. Máquina de café para desayunar en pijama.

Estableciomiento aceptable. El trato es correcto. Sin embargo, huele a tabaco (en particular la habitacion), aunque este prohibido fumar. Ademas, la gestion de la calefaccion se podria mejorar (pasamos frio por la noche).
