"Stayed in a room that hosted me and two friends. The location to check-in was close to the apartment and walkable. There are a lot of cute shops and restaurants that are walkable from this location. Communication through WhatsApp was very smooth with the host. There is an elevator so you don’t have to only rely on stairs to bring your luggage upstairs. All in all a good stay! "

"A 5 star resort , great spa too. Indoor pools, hot tub and steam room were serien. Our massage therapist was knowledgeable and friendly as well.
The main outdoor pool is massive and water warm. The breakfast buffet is outstanding . The staff were always polite and spoke various languages fluently. Our room was very large with a terrific shower. I loved their optional pillow selection as well. The cleaning staff folded our clothes too daily. A nice touch. "Das Frühstück ist sehr gut. Wir haben immer draußen gesessen. Man sollte allerdings eine lange Hose tragen,da es sehr viele Mücken gibt. Wir hatten 6 Tage lang keine Fernsehverbindung und auch kein WiFi auf dem Zimmer was natürlich sehr ärgerlich war. Auch ein mehrmaliges Auffordern hat nichts gebracht. "What an amazing property. This hotel was one of my favorites throughout our family trip of 10 days around Portugal and Madeira. We were given a suite with pool and ocean view. The rooms were spotless clean, comfortable beds with fluffy pillows. One of the best breakfast buffets we have experienced. The staff was very friendly and professional. Located near restaurants, natural pool, shopping mall. Highly recommend to stay at Porto Mare Bayport when visiting Funchal."
