"We stayed at this hotel for 8 nights and really enjoyed our stay. You can’t beat the location. The rooms are a bit small and to look at the view I needed to stand on a chair but I knew that when I booked it so all good. We enjoyed drinks at the restaurant and lived the live music. We used the rooftop pool almost daily and it’s great place to watch the sunset or look at the stars late at night. We would recommend it."

"Lovely hotel. Breakfast was excellent, rooms large and comfortable. Pools and spa services were excellent. Walking distance to a lovely mall, beach, and many great restaurants. Short bolt ride to downtown Funchal. Loved it."

"We stayed at Se' Boutique for eight nights and were very pleased with our choice. It's perfectly located immediately behind the Cathedral in central Funchal. Everything is a convenient walking distance, including a large number of wonderful restaurants. The breakfast was a full English breakfast, including more breads and pastries than I could count. They had delicious flan most days, eggs, bacon, cereals, etc. We looked forward to it each morning. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. We hope to return to Madeira and will definitely stay at Se' Boutique."

"Location is just about perfect, right in the centre of historical Funchal, a few minutes from the cathedral and ten minutes from the cable car up to Monte. Nice, spacious room, even had proper studio kitchen facilities and gear to go with it. Good view from the roof top, and great breakfast offering. Very helpful staff, even provided recommendations on dealing with a flu that was starting to make its presence known. And we were allowed to utilise the spa in the afternoon after checking out on the day of departure."
