"Wij vonden het heel fijn dat het een "kleine" accommodatie was, met veel persoonlijke aandacht voor de gasten. Zonder uitzondering was het personeel heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Bij de omschrijving was het duidelijk dat er bijvoorbeeld bij het zwembad geluidsoverlast was door het verkeer. Een grote plus voor ons was het zoutwater zwembad en de tuin. Ontbijt & diner waren goed! Voldoende keuze en afwisseling. Bij avondeten (gelukkig) ook voldoende groenten. Centrale ligging aan de wat...

"The hotel natural estate was beautiful, the grounds were in there own gardens , the staff very friendly , everything so clean and helpful. Everything was exceptional. The restaurant was very interesting and good , breakfast was so delightful with all the fruits and choices to eat. It is a 5 star excellent hospitality. The outside pool was lovely as well as indoor spa. Not hot but refreshing. "

"Das Rauchen auf den eigenem Zimmerbalkonen war nicht erlaubt ohne, dass dies zuvor bekannt war. Das Personal war im Allgemeinen nicht hilfsbereit und man fühlte sich bei Anliegen als Belastung. Die Zimmer sind gut, aber in die Jahre gekommen. Die Balkontür schleift (übrigens bei allen Zimmern). Der Kleiderschrank ist eine Zumutung, wenn man mehr als eine Person ist (Schiebetürendilemma). Die Türen schlagen und hört man über den ganzen Flur. Die Stimmung und Atmosphäre gleicht einem Hauptbahnhof...

"Kein 5-Sterne Hotel, maximal 3-Sterne. Das Gebäude war von aussen schön renoviert. Aber die Zimmer das absolute Gegenteil. Es wurden die grossen Suiten aufgeteilt und mit dünnen, hellhörigen Wänden getrennt. Absolut ohne"

Listened to us and found the right tours and places for us to visit ant to eat. She is a total credit to the hotel. 🙏"

Very well located and near to historic Funchal, everything within easy walking distance. Only negative was the sound of traffic was noticeable in the evenings / at night even with the windows/balcony door fully closed. "
