"The location was convenient, but several aspects of the stay were disappointing.
1. There was no phone in the room to contact the front desk, which made communication inconvenient.
2. The shampoo bottle was completely empty, apparently left over from previous guests, so I could not even wash my hair.
3. There was a towel left on the bathroom floor near the shower area when I entered the room, which raised concerns about the cleanliness and whether the room had been properly cleaned.
4. The breakfast selection was quite limited, and surprisingly there were almost no vegetables available.
Overall, the hotel experience did not meet the expected standard for cleanliness and basic room maintenance."
"Extremely disappointed with InterCityHotel. They were good before but with my recent experience. It became the worst in my list. None of them cares to answer messages or emails. It took them days to acknowledge and another week to answer. I will probably not going to book any of your hotels from now. Worst of the worst!"
"Wonderful hotel great rooms superb shower and bed with duvets !! Very convenient location
2 items were not working. Check in at the kiosk. And very lengthy and complicated wifi setup why not simply with the name and room number ?"
"The hotel lacked any “nice-to-haves” but was functional as a budget option. Had issues a few times with the key not working that were resolved fairly quickly by staff."
"It's a hostel, so amenities are minimal, but if you are so prepared, it's superb. It is bright and very clean everywhere. The art and photography on the walls is impressive. The social areas are spacious and clean, and when I was there, except for dinner time, I had them to myself. The breakfast buffet is minimal, but I recommend it, since it is only 9 Euros, and there is no place around here to go for a quick coffee or omelet. The office loaned me a towel, the one necessity I did not have with me, on my long journey. There are many, many rooms here, but except at breakfast, I saw and interacted with very few people. I came here to work, so that was great for me. You have to bring your own food for dinner. Or, I took an Uber to a restaurant about three miles from here, and saved half of the meal for the next day dinner."
