You can find out about the history of Gallipolis with a stop at Bob Evans Homestead. While in this family-friendly area, you can savour the bars and restaurants.
It appeared to be a charming little town with a large Christmas lights display. Sadly not a lot of options for dining other than fast food. We did try one restaurant, but their kitchen was backed up and the wait was 90 minutes or more.

I loved Gallipolis but not this accommodation. The town is very quaint and had a wonderful community spirit. I would return for another visit just find alternative accommodation.

Such a quaint town. Felt like I was in a hallmark movie town! Definitely recommend for an over night stay.
