"The views were excellent. I knew going into the stay that the property itself was “nostalgic“. I honestly felt this was charming, but I understand that some people like fully updated hotels. This is very reminiscent of another time. With that said, it was clean, and it was comfortable. The lady at the front desk when we checked in was less than friendly. The ladies serving breakfast were amazingly friendly! We loved the adjoining restaurant. The hotel is within walking distance to many fun attractions. We would absolutely stay here again."

"Great stay! We had a blast spending 2 extra nights of our trip here after we got stranded in Galveston due to ice and snow shutting down the Dallas airport and we went to the aquarium and the rainforest pyramids. Our 8 year old loved them! The staff was wonderful and very helpful. "

"There were multiple issues with the room from the door plate falling off, the shower curtain rod hanging out of the wall , the hotel phone had severed cords, the TV volume couldn't be turned up, the blinds didn't work and there were two broken lamps that were dusty"
