It’s a bit far for a direct walk to downtown but there’s a bus stop right nearby, and we didn’t mind getting the extra walking in so mad the walk multiple times anyways. Lovely room clean but very basic about 40 minutes walk from the centre there is a bus stop up the road on the right every 30 minutes 1.90 euro to the centre the spar on the corner is very handy

Very nice place to stay. Coffee shop downstairs is good but they seemed understaffed for how busy the morning rush was. Walls were a bit thin.

The Galmont
Ashlin at reception was amazing, so helpful, especially in booking our walking tour of Galway and day trip to the Cliffs of Moher and the Aran Islands with Lally Tours. She made our stay in Galway memorable. The room was awesome. Definitely staying at the Galmont the next time we are in Galway.
