"The double room was clean & fresh but the 'standard' size double bed does not compare well with the more usual 'queen' size provided in hotels in this price range. The staff were brilliant ambassadors for the hotel - Maisie & Jenny in particular - always attentive, always happy to engage with guests, always thinking ahead to anticipate the needs of their guests. "We stayed in a "POD" located in the ground. The pod was well appointed with good decor. The kitchen area contained a fridge, dishwasher, oven and hob, complete with crockery, cooking utensils and cutlery all you need for a comfortable stay. The shower room was excellent, and the bed was very comfortable too. The restaurant provided a good menu at reasonable prices."
