"Room was clean with facilities that were a bit dated, the staff were excellent and very helpful . Plenty of parking within the square in front of the pub. Excellent cooked breakfast if that’s what you start the day with. Enjoyable stay."

"The property is beautiful and well maintained. The staff were extremely helpful. Dining in all three restaurants was superb. We would definitely go back. The Falconry experience was amazing. Just be aware it is not run by the hotel but it is on or adjacent to the grounds. A two minute walk from the lobby."

"Great place to stay and would again. Old castle, so you have the historical vibes of the place. Had restraunt on site, only hade breakfast here and was good. Have onsite-bar and outside seating to enjoy the grounds. On outskirts of city, so very quiet, vast grounds to walk. Had a lift for luggage movement. Staff was great, location quiet.
