"This I hostel is amazing for a budget stay: location is great (walking distance from tahrir square, metro is in the heart of Cairo. There are multiple supermarkets and stores nearby, the view is nice, speciay from the balcony of the communal room. The staff are really friendly, room was clean and tidy. "The lift was old, scary and horrible. The receptionist we met on the first day was very inhumane and unnecessarily rigid. He gave a bad impression of the hotel. I have never seen such bad PR in my life. "

"WOW!! The view of the pyramids, sphinx & Giza plateau- UNBELIEVABLE!! View from the rooftop dining area is SPECTACULAR!! The staff is incredible- always helpful, joy filled smiles & will help arrange car transportation, any tour needs & offer their own tours. The food was good (again the views!!) Clean, free water whenever you need/want, good beds & accommodations. It’s located in Giza, right across from pyramids; about 30min to airport, 45min to central Cairo attractions. Book now for an incredible stay!!"

"Please forgive me, I accidentally left a 1-star review earlier and haven’t been able to figure out how to remove it. I want to make it clear that I truly enjoyed my stay at Sofitel! In fact, I loved it so much that I extended my trip by two extra nights and chose to continue staying at Sofitel. The service and staff were absolutely wonderful, everyone was very friendly, helpful, and extremely accommodating. The room was clean and comfortable, and while it was a little noisy on the balcony, once the doors were closed, it was very quiet inside. The views were lovely, and the atmosphere was relaxing. The restaurants served great food, we especially enjoyed the Lebanese restaurant and ended up dining there almost every day because the food was so delicious! Overall, a fantastic experience. Highly recommend!"
