"Hotel Hanza is an excellent Hotel in a great location. We were very fortunate to a room with a view on the water front.And also a balcony (massive bonus as only 2)The room was very spacious and traditional with modern touches. Complimentory water,tea and coffee etc.We also had a lovely bottle of wine in the room,which made it even more special.We had a problem with the toilet which was fixed promptly. Only marked down facilities as didn't use them lol.Didnt have much interaction with the staff...

"This is a historic building that has been updated to excellent modern standards. The colocation with a craft brewery restaurant in the basement is a great pairing with the room. The food and drinks were just excellent. The hotel is still just a 10 minute walk from Gdansk's historical center.
Just be careful using rental car GPS to get to the hotel. Our car had old maps and we had to take a 15 minute loop to enter the proper way, which is through the railway station car entrance. The hotel...
