"We stayed at the golden sands by shangri-la in penang 5th to 8th of july. We had a beach /pool facing room which i would strongly recommend. Rooms are spacious and clean, buffet breakfast had a wide variety of food, plenty of pool activities and areas of entertainment for kids,I would highly recommend this hotel to any type of visitor "

"A great hotel albeit food prices are quite high but quality is good. If you like a drink you can get alcohol but again it can be pricey. The staff a re very friendly and helpful. Housekeeping are brilliant and Afzal kept are room in fine form. There is a lot of wildlife in the gardens. The breakfast is an unbelievable experience with food choices for every nation.
