The Locale Hotel Grand Cayman

"Excellent boutique hotel with the best location on the Seven mile strip! Check in was simple and fast…a combination of online and in person procedures. The room was designed in a modern contemporary style and was spacious with a king bed, sofa and desk downstairs with a loft containing a sofa bed upstairs. Ample space for a small family. The breakfast at the Bonfire restaurant on site is ordered from their ‘Locale’ menu and was delicious! All in all, a great hotel with great amenities. a great location and, you guessed it, great food!"

"We loved our stay at Seven Mile Beach Resort and Club. The property was clean, staff were friendly and attentive, the value was great. The water was crystal clear. The actual sandy beach space is very limited to about the length of a beach lounge chair. Still plenty of fish to see right there in the water. The only drawback was that the neighboring beach was having work done during our stay so we were cut off from directly walking up seven mile beach. No problem to just drive or walk to the far side of the beach reconstruction in order to access the rest. We would stay there again."

"We have stayed at this property for years. Up until this year, it was 5 stars across the board. Since the previous general manager left, I’ve noticed things have not been as great. The staff we encountered were first rate, but being overworked by staff shortages. Our room was always immaculate but that was only because our person from housekeeping went out of her way to clean our room even though it wasn’t on her schedule (thank you Erica). Beach staff we have had previously were outstanding (thank you Ovi and Branco), but on their days off, there was a very different level of care. I still love the ritzy, but they need to get the previous GM back."

"The room was very comfortable and we felt great value for the cost. The pool was quite nice and the extra amenities they offered were fun and above and beyond. The staff was extremely courteous. The restaurant on site for dinner was only OK, good not great. But service was excellent."

"Gorgeous view. The staff was friendly and welcoming. The Condo was clean and had everything we needed and everything worked properly. It is close to some shops and restaurants, we loved The Bird for a quick bite and drink. Since the beach front is rocky I would definitely invest or bring water shoes. Nice pool. Look for Foster's grocery/market if you plan to cook. For shopping, Camana Bay and the port area of Georgetown was great. Rentals cars on the island make for easy travel. We had an amazing time!! Thank you!"
