"Our day was OK. The rooms were definitely outdated and a little dingy. But for the price, I guess it was fine. Staff was fairly helpful at the front desk. Breakfast was decent. They definitely rushed to shut things down on time if not early. So you had to grab what you could when you could, if you were a late sleeper. "I stayed here to visit both Washington DC and Alexandria. I emailed the hotel well in advance and they allowed me to drop my bag off early, without charge, so I could do some sighting. Staff at the front desk were extremely helpful when I asked questions. The room was nice and tidy, comfortable bed but a little bit noisey as I had a room adjacent to the main road.
