Our road trip took an unexpected delay, so our arrival was delayed until late evening. Therefore we did no more than room, bed sleep. The room was sizeable, bed was comfy. Room was a little dark, fridge was not turned on. Car parking was ok. Bathroom good size, water really nice and hot. Shower limited to a small bath base, so a bit of care needed when turning etc. No time for breakfast as we hit the road early. Overall a nice stop-over. Wish we had had longer time in the town itself

The entire property could use a facelift: repaint the wood trim, stairways, etc., and then—gee—sweep the walkways clear of leaves. The continental breakfast is limited to instant oatmeal and instant grits; toast (make it your own), some items to smear such as peanut butter. Medium boiled (some were soft, other hard) eggs on Saturday were an added benefit. Juices were available, and the coffee was a decent strong brew. I did not use the hot tub, nor the small indoor pool, nor did I see anyone else use it. Checking is old style: despite reserving the room on-line, one still has to fill out a paper form asking for contact details. The room itself was quiet, adequately ventilated with an overhead fan, and the shower excellent. Amenities were offered at check-in at the front desk. The property allowed me to check-out later than the required time.

Great experience in a comfortable and quaint town. Love the location, proximity to Historic Downtown, and the fact that the room had three beds for three of us! Breakfast in the lobby was also appreciated. We enjoyed the atmosphere very much!

The mountain view was amazing. We went skiing in Loveland, and the distance was great. The restaurant next to the inn had great pizza. The only downside was the hot tub curfew at 9:30. I understand the need for rules, but for adults who aren’t causing a disturbance, I feel like the curfew should be later.
