The room had a terrible odor and smelled of cigarette and mold. The air conditioner was dirty and you could see a yellowish smoke stain in the face of the ac unit. The shower was old and disgusting and the toilet didnt work. A lady (I'm guessing a housekeeper or desk clerk) began telling us her life story of working for the cartel and getting jumped and smuggling drugs into a prison she worked out for 3 weeks. Parking lot was creepy and the hotel has a reputation for stabbings, drug use and drug sale, and shootings and heavy police activity. The photos didnt capture the filthiness of the room. I was told the rooms were recently renovated, which only consisted of new flooring. But the floors hadnt been swpet very well and i was afraid to even pull the blanket back on the bed."
