"It is a classic old school hotel with an incredibly helpful staff. The Carousel Lounge is so much fun. Hard to get a seat on Friday or Saturday, but worth the wait if you can finally get in. My wife wanted a nice souvenir of our trip and called to ask if she could buy the logoed trash can in our room. They didn't even treat that as the crazy request it was and sold it to her. Can't say enough good things about our 3 night stay."

"This was a great stay. Amazing friendly saff. Room was very comfortable and the maid staff was fantastic. Loved the pool and pool bar. Great lite fare and snacks.
Restaurants and coffee shop where very convenient. Best of all is the location. If your a lite sleeper ask for an inside facing room. They are close to the pool."

"Honestly a great place to stay if you are looking to experience the real New Orleans.
Sits on the edge of the district so you aren't barated by party sounds all night.
Hotel was built in the 1970s but is made to look like it fits in, which it does.
Restaurant hours in the Hotel are weird, so never got to eat there.
All in all, will be back to this hotel again."

"Our arrival at Hyatt Centric New Orleans was met with exceptional service from the front desk staff, including Hulston! The bag porter who assisted us as they were finishing their shift at 7 pm was also excellent. Housekeeping was incredibly responsive; we requested an extra blanket and received it within 5 minutes.
While we did report a non-working landline on Saturday, we checked out Monday and it was never seen to the overall experience with the staff and services was very positive."

"For our stay, the breakfast was not included, but when we ate there, the food was delicious (especially the creamy grits) and the service was fast and courteous.
We had a couple of minor issues with the TV and the phone in the room (the phone wouldn't have mattered except that I was calling about the TV), but someone came up right away and got the TV going. The phone never did work.
