"Great service and hotel."

"The Federal Pointe Inn of Gettysburg has so much history! It was originally constructed to be a school so the ceilings are extra high. The bedroom was spacious and the bathroom was large, but could have used better lighting. The bedrooms also lacked hooks for ease of hanging outer wear as the closet was located in the far end of the room away from the door. When we stayed, it was Easter Sunday so the restaurant and bar was closed, so we didn't get to enjoy restaurant/ bar, but we did walk through the area and it was very quaint and historic. Parking is available via a parking lot on site and there is a ramp to access the lobby. Overall the Federal Pointe Inn was a memorable experience and a great location to explore the rest of historic Gettysburg."

"As other reviews have stated, the room and lobby area were very clean. However, the bed and pillows were like marshmallows; there was a colored bedspread on the bed. Most hotels today have white top covers that are laundered. Towels were coarse. This property is A Motel. No inside rooms. The second-floor rooms were a good hike from the stairway to reach; there were are no elevators."

"My only complaint about this hotel is trying to find it. Due to property ownership signage is abysmal and it is very difficult to find even with GPS. "

"This was my second Gettysburg visit in a year and my first time visiting The Brickhouse Inn. My experience was outstanding. Online booking and check in was easy. Clear and gracious pre-arrival communications were extremely helpful. The historic grounds, inn, and my room were very clean and inviting. It was a step back to another time in all the best ways. The staff could not have been more friendly and accommodating. Patricia was truly a fabulous host at any hour of the day. And her fresh baked afternoon cookies were delicious, not to mention her spirited good humor and conversations. When I return to Gettysburg again, the place where I lay my head at night has already been decided. Thank you again for a wonderful experience."

"This Super 8 was exactly what my family needed for the weekend we were there. Our room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The staff at the desk were very nice and pleasant. The lobby was cutely decorated for the Easter holiday. For a quick 2 night stay we’d stay again, especially for the price. Yes, the rooms and bathrooms could use some updating but there was nothing wrong with our stay. "
