"This property is a gem for history enthusiasts. It contains a museum of artifacts discovered during renovations and is decorated to match the period it was built in. It is modern and clean however, with modern comforts like new outlets on each side of the bed and at both vanities in the bathroom. The staff were incredible. "We visited Gettysburg during a heatwave and the hotel was cool and comfortable all night. It was very helpful to have check in parking at the front entrance so we could register and then head to the nearby parking garage- especially as it was so hot and crowded in town. Our room was clean and spacious and cool at check in! I also really like the scan code to tip the cleaning crew- very convenient!"

"Great location and large room, downside was no staff on site; we needed to call to get someone from the next door diner to open the door. No welcome or further context. Also no staff when we checked out.
