"Well, we couldn't stay here. The place reeked of marijuana, and had some strange policies. The front desk attendant was very friendly, however, when we started to bring our bicycles inside, we were told we couldn't bring them inside at all. They are clean bicycles we were traveling with as part of our vacation plans. They said we could keep them outside on our car rack, and there would be cameras on them all night. Yeah, we were absolutely not going to leave our bicycles outside at a Super 8 motel to come out the next day to find them missing or stripped. I also didn't believe for a minute that someone at the motel would have their eyes on them all night. Apparently you can smoke in a non smoking facility there, bring in pets, but not bring in clean, nice road bicycles. So we had to book elsewhere and the motel refused to refund us, even though this was minutes after checking in. The Fairfield Inn next door was amazing and had zero issues with us bringing our bikes inside. We will be taking our refund up with Expedia, in no area of the terms did it say we couldn't bring bicycles inside. If Expedia refuses, we'll take it up with other consumer agencies. "
