"This cottage is excellent. Room is very clean like Japanese high-class hotel. The shower is fresh water, Restroom is located inside, Kitchen and wash machine are fully equipped and located enough space, Food was cheap but tasty... There is no end to write good point!! And, The staffs are very very good. She told us a lot of things to enjoy the Gili trawangan with fully smile(eg. good restaurant, market, snorkel spot, sunset point). "Everything about our stay was INCREDIBLE! Would definitely recommend. We loved: • Both pools • Private beach on site with sunset views • Swim up bar • Great rooms pool view so convenient • staff was super helpful, friendly and amazing I forgot my charger and adapter and they are even helping me get it shipped by fast boat back to me. I would definitely come back and recommend this hotel. Two things I would like to mention though: Animal lovers: The hotel is a 30 minutes walk from the pier. If you have ethical issues with using the horses to bring your luggage the walk with luggage is gruelling in the heat. We did it and it was not fun. Hopefully they come up with an alternative like porters or wheel barrow porters like in Brazil. Swimming enthusiasts: The beach is very shallow with coral pieces all over. Bring water shoes. They have a sister property with beautiful easily accessible to swim white sand beaches near the pier but no sunset. You can rent a bike a go swim there for f you’d like during your stay like we did."

"The resort itself was great. Close to the port and many businesses, such as restaurants, convenience stores, and bars. The beach was just across the road, and the resort had a private area with beach chairs and towels. Breakfast at the restaurant was very good, although there were fees for my Americano coffee, which was surprising. The room was almost equally divided between the bathroom and bedroom. There was a lot of wasted space on the bathroom that could have been beneficial in the bedroom. AC was very effective. Overall, a solid property with good advantages and a very friendly staff. I would return."

"The place is very impressive as you enter into the reception. All staff are very welcoming and happy. We were seen to our room quickly with lovely refreshments. The room itself was well equipped and had an open shower so it felt fresh even in the rain. The breakfast has a wide choice of foods situated on the terrace over looking the pool. The room was beautiful and had great amount of outdoor seating for each villa. It was a very peaceful and wholesome stay and we could not thank the staff enough for making it feel special. At the front of the resort, there is a beautiful beach that belongs to them. A selection of sun loungers, hammocks and a beach swing to suit all. The only thing that can make the stay 10/10 is some small paint refreshments in the room ."

"Gili Eco Villas is an excellent place to stay! The staff were incredibly warm and welcoming and were very attentive. (Shout-out to Yogi for finding someone to repair a torn zipper on one of our large bags.) Our two-room villa was very comfortable, clean, and quiet. The two pools are very nice and the beach is right there. Being at the north end of the island, it was easy to follow the beach a little way east to see the sunrise or a little way west to see the sunset. We rented bikes right there and used them to get around the island during our stay. The food at their restaurant was fresh and delicious and the staff there were also very warm and exceedingly patient with our comical attempts at speaking Bahasa. We had breakfast there every day and dinner two of our four nights. Terima kasih! Sampai jumpa lagi ;)"
