"Everything was good. It was a nice place with a dog exercise field as well. We had a nice little welcome basket so that we could have a drink when we arrived. The kitchen was well equipped. Thankyou"

"Very cute and quaint cottage with lots of greenery all around. Very comfortable accommodations, and the freshly baked loaf of bread was such a thoughtful touch. We wish we could have stayed longer! "

"The road to the property is rough and stoney ,Steep metal steps up to apartment , not good with luggage ,Cramped mezanine bedroom with 1 bannister rail missing ,no fire exit instructions ,bathroom has a sloping ceiling and was not good for a tall person. View from kitchen window of old tyre'sand a sink thrown in the I am not sure how this passed any fire and building control regs .Would not return and was not worth the price "

"Very friendly reception from the landlord Gareth who provided a most enlivening atmosphere in the Duke of Wellington ie a darts match for the men and Easter wreath making for the ladies. No food unfortunately but we found an excellent Italian restaurant in nearby Northallerton. The courtyard room was clean and comfortable, marred only by a very awkward shower - not easy to enter, due to lack of space."

"We had a really good stay. The cottage is beautiful and equipped with absolutely everything you could ever need. Our son really enjoyed the garden, in particular the Wendy House which was also kitted out with toys, which was a lovely bonus.
The village is peaceful but perfect for a nice walk.
We would thoroughly recommend the property and would stay again. "

"The house was lovely, spacious, clean and well stocked with anything you might need. It is in a tranquil village and has plentiful off-road parking. The garden has an excellent view and is so peaceful to sit in. There is a park 2 minutes down the lane, a football field, and if you continue down the lane, there is a pond and a lovely walk around it. It was perfectly located between all the walking areas I wanted to see and complete. When we arrived there was bread, milk and some treats waiting...

"Absolutely beautiful hotel! Felt like I was in Canada with the lovely lodge feel. Bright, modern, spotlessly clean. Lovely brekafast.
Just wished I lived closer (I’m 4.5hrs away) so I could go there more and that I’d booked a longer stay this time.
Can’t say a bad word about it. "
"What a lovely place ☺️
We only stayed for one night as we came up from Chester to pick up a boxer puppy early on the Saturday,if we’d have known how lovely it was,we would have stayed an extra night, the staff and rooms are lovely (although our room did smell quite musty and there was quite a lot of mould in the bathroom on the shower and bottom of the bath) we had a meal there on the Friday evening when we arrived,it was so busy with Christmas party’s but the staff were so happy and friendly and couldn’t do enough for us,no matter how busy they were,it was like they were only serving us,the food was lovely and the decor of the bar and restaurant are stunning,it’s such a shame that we live so far away,if we didn’t I would most definitely stay here again,I 100% recommend you stay here xx"
"We had a lovely two night stay our room was large with a huge comfortable bed. It was in a great location, very central with parking at the back of the hotel. The staff were all friendly and helpful, overall a great stay we would definitely stay here again when next in the area."
