"Great bargain option! Gorgeous waterfall area on the property, good breakfast and dinner at the restaurant. Very peaceful area. Stayed in the camping pod, very basic but had a comfortable bed. The mini fridge in my room only could fit maybe one can of soda and it didn't seem to work, and the shower was a communal shower and make sure you bring shower shoes it did not look like it was deep cleaned in a long time, but it if you consider you are essentially camping its really not a big deal. "The hotel is in a nice rural landscape of Iceland with a hiking opportunity nearby (map on the reception desk). However some dogs of the nearby farmers do not like hikers, wehn you are walking on the street in front of the hotel. The rooms have a good size. Bathroom amenities are from Iceland, produced by Soley. The hotel features a very good restaurant with good views which is worth a visit by itself. A good breakfast is also served in the restaurant. Weirdly, you have to ask for spoons."

"Petit soucis à l'arrivée car nous n'avions pas reçu le mail avec notre numéro de chambre et le code mais après un contact avec d'autres vacanciers nous avons obtenu une réponse très rapide. Nous avions une chambre avec sdb privée, très propre. La literie était confortable et le linge de lit sentait extrêmement bon. Le petit déjeuner était excellent, mention particulière pour le banana bread maison que nous avons trouvé exceptionnel. Amabilité et gentillesse au rdv. Merci pour l'accueil."

"The property is a bit outdated, the bathroom needs an upgrade, however the rooms are large, with mirrors, refrigerator, a small kitchenette. The breakfast was awesome the best we had in Iceland. Dinner was good however as a vegetarian my choices were extremely limited for a price of ISK 8900. We had a stopover for one night and had a comfortable stay."

"This is a very nice large hotel that can host bus groups. Very clean and high standards. We ate dinner at another restaurant so do not know how crowded the dining room was. At breakfast, there were a lot of people but they had enough sitting as they opened up a separate room. I would stay here again. "
