"The grounds are amazing. We could see the horses from our bed. My kid loved the ladder to the upstairs. Place was pretty clean, the toilet brushes are a bit grungy, think they could swap those out but everything else was good. The views and scenery are really amazing though "

"We really liked Ion Adventure. The only thing less than perfect was the Silfra restaurant - our wait staff was excellent, but the food was not. I tried the "beet burger", and someone else had the falafel, and they were not good. Otherwise we really liked the hotel."
"The room was pristine, area is quiet and isolated. Great value for a spacious room. Only issue were the gnats, which can be a problem all over Iceland, just need bug spray outside."
"We loved our stay at Hotel Laxnes. The staff were friendly and welcoming! There was space in the fridge for groceries, which was a plus since we stocked up for our trip to the South the next day. The room was clean and comfortable, and we had a good rest—ready for our Iceland adventure. I truly recommend this hotel."
"We stayed in a one-bedroom cabin and absolutely loved it. The room was spotless and cozy, and we were pleasantly surprised to find a brand-new couch and flat-screen TV, both of which looked older in the photos, so the upgrade was a nice touch.
One of our favorite things was that the hot tub was always open. Sitting in it at 2 a.m. with nothing but quiet around was such a relaxing experience.
Although we didn’t eat at the restaurant, the menu looked excellent and we’d definitely consider it...
