"Really enjoyed the property, room and surrounding area. Only problem was that we did not receive any instructions on getting into our room and had to ring the staff for access. Other than that, perfect, would stay there again!"

"I telephoned and it was disconnected. I went to reception which was under construction and dangerous. When I found someone they walked me back to reception through the mess of construction to pay difference of bill and give me a key. Room was clean and was ok for one night. No chairs. Tiny bathroom. Bed and pillows were comfortable. Parking was not the best. Place is well located to cafes and pub."

"New cabins were spotless, nice outdoor decking, great heating for a cold winters night. Loved the coffee percolator. Enjoyed a few games of table tennis in the games room too!"

"Super clean room and very comfortable bed. Nice and quiet spot with the bonus of the parking area out the back. Super easy to walk to shops and restaurants. Staff were extremely friendly and polite and helpful! Price of the room was also decent for the convenience of being so close to the Main Street. Highly recommend!"

"Off grid cabin / eco tiny home in a scenic area in the hills above Hahndorf. The property had 8 cabins which were really well spaced out giving a feeling of privacy and the area had many birds and kangaroos. Well laid out cabin with thoughtful additions from the host such as kindle/firefighter and matches for the koonara. A lovely stay, highly recommend."

"What a beautiful hotel, we had a fantastic stay. Exactly what you want in a lovely historic old hotel in a fantastic location in the Adelaide Hills. Beautifully restored, fireplaces galore, great welcoming bar and elegant dining room with fabulous wine room. Couldn’t fault the hotel, our room was so cosy and comfortable, gorgeous large marble bathroom and balcony (Tiers room). Good provisions provided for continental breakfast and snacks, great location, short drive up to Mount lofty lookout...

"We loved our stay at Mt Lofty House. Highly recommend the daily history tour at 4.30pm. All staff were really friendly, knowledgeable and engaging. Our room was divine. A tip, the cookies are the best. There’s a jar left out and topped up daily but it’s a bit of a secret. We dined at Martha’s and after a really busy day, loved the easy going nature of this restaurant. We also had the 7 course degustation menu at Hardys Veranda another night. "This was a completely random find by us. These villas are part of a cooking school, but we were just there for the room. This was the most beautiful villa we've ever stayed at. It was beautiful, stunning architecture, beautifully furnished, it had an amazing complete designer kitchen which we didn't use, but which would be handy for longer stays, and it was not all that expensive. " Overall, the property was excellent but was let down by the lack of TV reception. Given that our visit was for the Gather Round Football, our plan was to watch many of the games on TV. However, that was not possible because of there being no satellite connection because of the cloud cover. It was a major disappointment and as a result we had very little leisure time at the property. The property is advertised as family accommodation, so the TV coverage issues need to be rectified."

"The location was fantastic. The bedroom was lovely with the garden outlook. The bathroom needed repairs. Tile and grout were worn and chipped. Staff were cheerful, helpful and were attentive to our feedback."

"Great stay. Staff were friendly and welcoming at check in - but we aware of the relatively short check in window. The room was a great size and very comfortable. There was no noise from the functions downstairs. Free coffee machines were a nice perk, plus the drink vouchers given to us at check in. Easy and plentiful parking. Easy access to Tea Tree Plaza."
