Dream Valley Belize
8/10 Good
"Wifi was spotty. Husband was having a tough time working. Movies kept pausing and buffering, so that made it difficult to see anything all the way through! Food was excellent! Staff was friendly and accommodating to the best of their ability. My last stay was 10 years ago, Aug 2016! We noticed lots of upgrades to the property. We'll be back, and will choose our 1st room #3 next time!!"

The Banks Resort
10/10 Excellent
"Don’t give it another thought- book your stay at The Banks! I promise you won’t regret it! Beautiful property with no detail spared- Our family of four stayed at The Banks at the end of May for 3 nights and we wished we could have extended our stay. We stayed in a beautiful 3 bedroom villa on the river, the rooms were beautiful and spacious, very clean and we loved the outdoor showers. We also had our own plunge pool that was definitely larger than your average plunge pool. Humo, the restaurant onsite was delicious and had several options to choose from. We also visited the Sleeping Giant for dinner one evening and had wonderful pizza at Donatos. At The Banks we enjoyed kayaking down the Sibun River, riding bikes, and hiking. We rented a car from the BZE airport which I would highly recommend- this made it easy and convenient to take days trips- we visited St. Herman’s cave and did their tubing tour, the Blue Hole national park (amazing), Armenia (a local village nearby, we ate lunch at Hibiscus), and drove to the Mayan ruins- Xunantunich. Special thanks to Gianni- our amazing bartender-he went above and beyond, Jessica the manager- she was so sweet and always asked about our day, and Jair one of our servers. 10 out of 10 recommend The Banks- you will love it!"

Hidden Valley Wilderness Lodge
10/10 Excellent
"We recently stayed at Hidden Valley Wilderness Lodge, and it was truly the highlight of our entire trip. If you love nature, luxury, and tranquility, this place is paradise. I have to start with the culinary experience because the food was absolutely excellent! Every single meal was outstanding and a massive highlight of our stay. We even took a cooking class with the Chef Kenron, which was incredibly informative and interesting. We ended up making a truly delightful peanut soup that we won't soon forget! The property itself is breathtaking, beautifully maintained, and incredibly secluded. It really feels like a hidden sanctuary. The hiking trails are stunning, with Butterfly Falls being an absolute standout. We hiked out to the falls, jumped into the crisp water, and spent hours swimming and relaxing. It’s an unforgettable experience. Our room was always spotlessly clean, comfortable, and a welcoming retreat after a long day of exploring. We also loved the thoughtful daily touches—having complimentary fresh cookies, coffee, tea, and water waiting for us every day made us feel so well taken care of. If you are looking for a secluded, nature-filled getaway with top-tier service and phenomenal food, look no further. We cannot recommend Hidden Valley Wilderness Lodge enough! "

GM Suites Bed & Breakfast
10/10 Excellent
"Perfect stay for 4 travellers for 2 nights. Wasn’t large or fancy but suited our needs for the short stay, especially when we spent the day exploring and didn’t need to stay in the room. The owner/manager was absolutely helpful."

The Ansen Place
8/10 Good
"Very clean and well equipped. We were on the third floor. The steps are quite steep and a little precarious for older folks. No elevator so forget bringing your suitcases up if you’re staying for just one night. But it’s a nice large well equipped apartment."

Kiki Witz
10/10 Excellent
"We really enjoyed our two night stay. The staff was super accommodating whenever we asked for anything. The property is incredibly unique and really gives you the local, in the jungle vibe, but with a super nice room. Would happily come back."

NOUR Villas
8/10 Good
"It was a beautiful place, private and we felt safe. The Host Abner went above and beyond to help us with anything we needed. I wish we had stayed longer!"

Jade Jungle Resort
10/10 Excellent
"Heaven on earth. The food was phenomenal, the staff felt like family and the atmosphere was out of this world. A family vacation we will never forget."

T.R.E.E.S Research Center and Eco Lodge
10/10 Excellent
"The whole place was amazing! The cabins were bare bones but clean and cute. We had a porch in the back right by the rainforest, but wished there had been comfy chairs to sit on instead of a small, hard bench. The bathrooms were clean with some interesting insect life to observe while sitting there. Showers were hot and good pressure. The Toucan Cafe up front was superb - we ate every meal there. There is comfortable indoor and outdoor seating. Fridge and coffee maker are available for guests. There is also a biology-oriented library that also had some interesting travel guides for Belize, a gift shop, and a lab where the researchers work. The staff was super helpful with all the questions we had. The grounds are large, with orchards containing a variety of fruit trees, and there are some nice hiking trails. One goes to a "swimming hole" on a creek that is not deep enough to swim in but certainly wonderfully refreshing on a hot day. We used the cabin as a base and only had to drive 20 minutes to the Inland Blue Hole and river kayaking, and 15 minutes to Billy Barquedier National Park where there is a short hike to a waterfall. There are several restaurants nearby on the Hummingbird Hwy, as well as an ice cream shop."
