Farmstay in Goodhue County

"My daughter and I stayed at the SpringHill in Rochester for an annual event that takes place at the at the Mayo Civic Center. We have have stayed here the last 3 years now and have yet to be disappointed. The rooms have always been clean, modern, and very spacious. We've enjoyed the breakfast options in the morning. I love that there is parking onsite (yes for $7 a day fee, but its worth it to be able to park on site), parking was a little tricky this time only due to the hotel being so full and many large vehicles being parked right on/just over the line made it a bit tricky to squeeze into the last available spot, but thats hardly the hotels fault (and lucky i have a narrow vehicle). What has put this hotel over the top for me, however, is the wonderful experience I have had with the staff every time we have been to this location. By far the employees at this location have been the most friendly, welcoming staff I have every encountered. "

"Breakfast was good. Waffles eggs sausage. Pretty decent. Hotel was ok. Room was ok. Not 4 stars but adequate. Beds were ok. Not much for covers, pretty thin. Thought we would use the pull out couch bed but it was pretty poor shape. Hardly any lighting and felt like a cave. Poor guy running the place was really nice and was really helpful."

"The breakfast was cold, what was left of it anyways. Bath tub wouldn’t drain as we took a shower. No hot water. We were given 3 towels and were told they didn’t have more when we asked. Air in room barely worked. "
