"Had a lovely stay at Windsor cottage. Well presented, great amenities and the most comfortable bed in the master bedroom. Slept like a log! Ate out in local restaurants, which were lovely especially Alberto’s Italy. There are a couple of free parking areas in town 5-10 minutes away. "I think this is one of the few times I can say that the photos on a website are 100% accurate. Choosing this hotel was a brilliant decision. The staff is both very friendly and professional. At this point, I can’t help but highlight the bartender, Ionut. Extremely kind and pleasant. The hotel’s modern design, the perfect location for exploring the city, and at the same time its setting like an oasis of nature—for us, this sealed the deal for choosing this hotel, whenever we’re back in Oxford. Thank you for your hospitality. Superb. (A little tip: Go for the breakfast option. The variety and abundance make it a must-try.)"

"The Garden wing is uninspiring upon arrival but inside is first class for quality and cleanliness. Room and en suite nicely furnished and laid out. Not a big room so, with the extremely high temperatures during our stay, became very warm. No aircon but a fan was already in situ. The main building was lovely and cool with doors open for through draughts and aircon in the restaurant. The grounds were excellent for walking and the gardens have great potential. Good quality food. Service good throughout - especially considering a wedding celebration was being hosted. Disappointed that disabled bays were occupied by a works van and two cars - none of which were displaying blue badges. Shouldn't be difficult to monitor as car reg is input on arrival."

"We stayed for one night in a suite booked through Expedia and unfortunately the experience did not meet expectations, particularly given the price paid. We chose the suite because it was advertised as having a separate sitting area and complimentary WiFi. However, the room did not appear to have a genuinely separate seating area as described, and we were not provided with any WiFi information on arrival. There were several maintenance and cleanliness issues, including a broken and unstable table, an empty shower gel dispenser, an unpleasant odour coming from the bathroom, and a room telephone that did not work. We also attempted to contact room service at around 7pm and received no answer. The sofa bed was particularly disappointing. Our child, who normally sleeps very well, struggled to sleep on it and we did not feel it was suitable for use as a child's bed. The room was extremely hot on arrival, with the windows and curtains left open on one of the hottest days of the year. Despite putting the fans on immediately, it took a long time for the room to become comfortable. The hotel itself felt tired and dated in several areas and would benefit from refurbishment and improved maintenance. We were also disappointed by the breakfast arrangements. Information provided stated that weekday breakfast, including Mondays, was served from 7:00am. However, as it was a Bank Holiday Monday, breakfast did not start until 8:00am. This was not communicated to us at check in. Having bee"
