Staff service, cleanliness and amenities are ok. Most of the the rooms are in the interior part of the building and no outside views or natural light. Call and make sure if you care about that.

Nice little hotel for a stopover. The beds were comfy and warm. However the bathroom and cutlery had not been cleaned. Thin walls and a noisy refrigerator was in the room. Staff were friendly. Conveniently located close to shops, cafe and restaurants.

I liked nothing about the room. The room reeked of stale cigarette smoke, it was disgusting! The only place to sit and watch the tv was on the bed. The bed was on castors on a lino floor with no bed head. When you sat on the bed and leaned back against the wall the bed rolled away from under you. I’d been driving all day both of the things I mentioned only made relaxing non existent. I had planned to leave at seton the morning, I woke up at 3 am, the stink was so bad that I left shortly after. I won’t be back!

My first impression wasn't great - the room looked very small - but it turned out to be a great stay. I had the best night's sleep I'd had in weeks and the location of the hotel was very handy to the main street, with multiple options for dinner and breakfast. I would definitely stay there again.

As expected, for its rating, so we were happy with that. Plenty of off street parking. Great access to “The Hibo” through the back of the hotel if you want an authentic local pub experience.
