"This was just the best place to stay in Pinhao. The staff were so friendly and ready to help and provide tips and recommendations. Loved the room - very clean and comfortable. The entire Quinta couldn't be more relaxing and peaceful. The restaurant had stunning views and dinner was to die for. I plan on staying at Quinta de la Rosa again."

"The hotel was lovely, the staff was so kind and the entire property smelled like orange blossoms from the trees next to the hotel. The provided breakfast buffet was so good and fresh and the staff also offered individual dishes as well as espressos! My only "complaint" would be that the location has very limited restaurants, like only 3 and 2 of them were closed on Mondays! Bring some snacks and you will love the hotel!"

"We had a comfortable room with a patio overlooking the Douro River. Staff very friendly. The only negative from our point of view was the window from the shower into the room. The botton 2/3 rds are translucent and upper 1/3 clear. If a light is turned on in bathroom bedroom is lit up as well . Also the obvious privacy issues. Other than the the room , hotel , staff, bar and restaurant are great."

"The view was amazing, the walk to town was all downhill so you have lots of climbing back and forth. There was no restaurant on site, which would have been nice. The free breakfast was good enough for what our needs were."

"The Quinta da Moita is out of the way of the Douro Valley but well worth the detour. I stayed there 3 nights on a solo trip. The owners are fantastic, very sweet. The place is perfect for quiet respite, clean rooms, comfortable beds, great breakfast! I recommend to anyone for solo stay or couple gateaway! Their wines are great too! Just make sure to have food for dinner if you want to relax for the evening as everything is pretty far. But the drive is gorgeous and fun! "

"The property is located in the beautiful valley on top of the mountain. The drive up to the check in was a small , narrow , cobblestone driveway. Once arrived we quickly checked in and were escorted to show us where to park the car and where the breakfast location was. Luckily we were located on the 5 th floor terrace so we only had to take the suitcases down to terrace 5 from terrace 7 where we parked. "The views are lovely. The property has many fruit trees and of course grape vines. The drive to get there involves narrow hairpin turns with steep hills, so it is not for the anxious driver. Breakfast was excellent. The cabin we stayed in was not elegant but everything we needed was there except maybe for no kettle to boil water in without a trip to main building."

"It was a great place to stay. Up on the side of a hill looking down on the Douro river. Beautiful room and spacious bathroom. We had a balcony with our room. The hosts were great and knowledgeable of things to do. Great breakfast in the morning. Even had a decanter of port wine for tasting. Definitely would stay again."
