"The room was not kept well. Furniture was ripped or had chipped paint, bathtub faucet leaked and there was the water was barely warm. Had to call the hotel 3 times to get the shuttle to pick us up. So did another couple who arrived at the same time. The only good thing I can say about this hotel is that the breakfast ok."

"This hotel was absolutely wonderful! I highly highly recommend. I nearly got stuck at another hotel that claimed to be three stars but the reviews for that hotel were horrendous. So I booked a last-minute stay at the diamond hotel. Which is also considered a three-star hotel and definitely was that and more. "I would not stay here. We did not feel safe. There were drug addicts roaming all around and our room and door had no security and were in the back were no one was except the addicts. I was afraid that we would get robbed the whole time I was there. The room was stinky and stuffy. The shower was a drizzle. Pro was mini fridge which had a small freezer. Towels were tiny. Room was tiny. Bed was comfy."

"Check in staff was wonderful. But that’s about it. We booked 3 rooms and it wasn’t pretty. My room looked like it was just cleaned but incomplete. No towels or soap anywhere. There was a pack of underwear on the couch. Trash bins had no liner. Broom was still in bathroom. There was a piece of foil with some residue on top and clear burn marks on the bottom so someone was cooking up some drugs and it was left on bathroom counter.
Other 2 rooms were disgusting. Bug bits and brown stains/residue...

"Beat up old hotel right on the floatplane lake. Very convenient to ANC. Floatplanes start roaring around 6 or 7 AM. You don’t miss them. Good bar, terrible food but great shuttle service. Very expensive considering but that’s Anchorage I suppose."
