"This was a very good little motel very clean and the bed was so comfortable all amenities you need are there
The only downside is you have to drive into town to get food and drink

"We appreciated the renovated bathroom with space (big drawers) to store toilet bags etc and a reasonably sized room. We were able to conveniently park directly outside our room which was handy for unpacking and packing. Like all Motels in the town, the Azalea Motel is very close to the highway, and those trucks roll through the town 24 hrs a day! When viewing the pictures on hotels.com, be aware that no food is served any more, and the garden is nowhere near as well kept as shown (April 2026) - although I did enjoy spotting a few different birds enjoying the nectar from a large callistemon in the garden."
