Beautiful Apartment close to town

Very cute second story 1 bedroom, 1.5 bath apartment with full kitchen. Beds were a little firm and pillows large but overall very nice accomidation.

Thank you Carolin for your wonderful apartment getaway! Your place was so clean and perfectly decorated. Every amenity was thoughtfully appointed. We have stayed in Garmisch before but can only imagine staying here in the future. We are planning our ski trip now and hopefully can stay again.

Die Unterkunft war ein Traum, alles war mit so viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Die Ausstattung war super, die Kommunikation einwandfrei. Fabulous appart-hotel with a fantastic view

We were a family of four visiting southern Germany in early November. We rented a two-bedroom appartment at the Ferienwohnungen Zugspitze for two nights. It would be difficult to find any better accommodation! All the important items and extra little attentions are there. The house is clean, the beds are comfortable, there is a well equipped kitchen, two bathrooms, a living room, a fantastic view out the windows and free parking. The owner Carolin is responsive and has customer service downpath! The only negative is that the wifi has very limited range: it was good on most of the main floor, but inexistant in the basement. The area around the house is quiet. It is also not very well lit, so if you arrive at night, be aware that the house sits at the end of a ~40 meter driveway and is not visible from the road. Look for the entrance that has a post with the addresses 17 and 15 on it. There are restaurants within a 5-minute walk. We went to the restaurant Chapeau Claque - it looks like nothing, but we got fabulous service from this mom-and-pop bistro and excellent meals. Highly recommended!

We had a three night stay in the property. We had chosen one of the cabins, which was an excellent choice for us since it was a charming woodcraft traditional setting, with a view of the mountains. Perfectly suited for two people. Check in by Carolin was very welcoming, with even a bottle of wine to enjoy as a wind-down from our drive. She was very informative about the stay and the area, and spoke excellent English. Grainau itself is a location of choice to visit the area - close to Garmisch-Partenkirchen and the Zugspitze, but without any of the tour-bus crowd. Easily drivable to the high intensity tourist spots like the royal castles. Grainau was certainly popular as a vacation spot, with basically all accommodations booked in the village, but didn't lose its charm. Restaurants, stores, cog-train and cable car were all easily walkable from our location. We would gladly stay there again.

This was the nicest property we stayed at during our 2 week tour of Germany. Every possible need had been thought of and was provided for. The property was clean, well kept and has beautiful views of the Alps. We only wished we could have stayed longer.

The owner is very kind and helpful, she even drove over to us when we were lost and called the hotel to get directions. Nothing bad to say about this place, the cabin we stayed at is pristine. It’s such a cute place and was very clean. Would stay again, 10/10

Fantastic stay and would certainly stay again

A truly enjoyable stay. Lovely host and the touches such as as the welcome drink, jams for breakfasts, foot tub with hand made oil, salt was truly appreciated. Wonderful views from the balcony even on a wet day. The pictures of the accomodation don't did the place justic.
