"We didn't stay at this hotel. Due to a family death we couldn't travel but hotel refused to refund the tickets. The hotel has a perfect right to do so but we expected a better response under the circumstances. Will definitely not visit again. Bad PR"

"Quarto limpo, silencioso, pedi camas separadas , no site dizia que tinha figrobar, mas tive que pedir pra colocar , mas não funcionou bem .tem elevador para chegar até a recepção mas escadas pra chegar ao quarto o que é difícil pra mim, tive ajuda do atendente , garagem a 15 euros só dia em outro local fora do hotel"

"No hand soap, kettle or teabags provided. Door not closing onto balcony without banging it. Balcony looking on to noisy building works which wasn’t worth the extra money paid, as the balcony was unusable. No mugs, sugar or milk provided. No robes or slippers. Room was ok but overall disappointing for a 4 star. No USB points. Great bathroom and comfortable bed. Good air conditioning."

"The room was small and the shower was extremely small (you could not move when showering and I am a small person 5'6"). Strong smell in room. Staff was not helpful. Breakfast buffet was good and the views from the restaurant were amazing. Parking in building is very small but you can park a block away with validation (good thing),"

"This is a marvelous hotel. The location is terrific, the architecture and design create a space both open and cozy, the rooms are well-appointed, clean and well-maintained. The restaurant is magnificent - we had eight dishes over two days, each of them excellent. The staff, in the restaurant, at the front desk, and on the floors, were uniformly friendly, efficient, and engaged. "You’re not able to get ice. Unless you want to blocks to a different hotel. They won’t bring it to you. Air conditioning was turned off. You had to sleep with the Windows open. It was extremely hot in the room. We had requested wake up and a taxi. And when we went downstairs, they said no taxes for today. It’s too early in the morning but we had to leave in the 630 bus. So we ended up having to walk 5 to 6 bucks with luggage at 5:15 in the morning. It was really terrible. Don’t book off-season...
