This is our second time staying here - we stayed for 3 nights while shopping in Grand Forks. Breakfast options are great. The pool and hot tub were enjoyable. The room itself was just what we needed. A nice bed, TV, microwave and fridge. Housekeeping changed our garbage the second day.
The only complaint we have is regarding the check in attendant. Check in was easy with no issues. Later on when we returned from shopping the attendant let us know, rather loudly, infront of other guests that he was helping that our card declined. It was very embarrassing. For some reason our visa credit card only worked at certain locations this weekend so we didn’t think much of it, just didn’t like the way it brought up. Our statement showed that the payment went through the first time, but we went back to confirm anyways. The card went through (as it did the first time) and we were charged $191 instead of $3 for the incidental. Another trip to the front desk and we were told it was a mistake. The funds did go back to our card within 2 days. Glad we noticed.
Overall, we would definitely return to the hotel for future trips.
