"Ras"

"This hotel is in an historic old Abby. The property is over 500 years old and they've done a very good job of repurposing it. The room that we stayed in was a little tired and could use some care but in general the property was nice. They did seem a bit understaffed and getting a drink at the bar was a bit of a challenge."

"Het personeel was erg aardig en wou ons echt goed helpen. Helaas waren de kamers echt te smerig voor woorden. * Schimmel aan het douchegordijn. * Kauwgum aan de rand van het bed. * De Airco maakt een raar geluid wat net lijkt of er een krekel in de kamer zit. * De kamer ruikt enorm muf. Wij wouden even goed uitrusten om de volgende dag een flinke reis af te leggen. We hebben wel geteld een uur geslapen en zijn om 05:00 uur maar weggereden omdat we toch niet konden slapen. Ik zou dit niet...

"The elevator is a big plus when arriving tired. Everyone was friendly and helpful, though we didn't really need much assistance. The room was clean, the air conditioning worked well and the bath was both roomy and had ample space around the sink to leave out tooth brushes, deodorant, etc. Thought close to the highway, our room was quiet and I didn't notice any traffic noise, though with the AC on we kept the window shut. The carpet was a bit worn, but otherwise a good place to spend the night....
