"Staff was very kind. I was hoping to use a crib during our stay, but there wasn't one available. They were apologetic and seemed like they cared about the inconvenience. Available cribs were one of the main reason I chose this hotel. The room had quite a bit of makeup or another light brown substance smeared on the door, light switch, and clock. "The location is (as you can easily tell on a map) outside of Nashville so you will be driving/ride-sharing in if Broadway etc is your destination, but it's walkable (20 mins) to the Opry (5-8) to Nashville Palace and some good bars/food options. Hotel is what you'd expect - clean, comfortable and the staff were all incredibly welcoming and friendly. The free breakfast was excellent. It was quiet at night and felt safe arriving back late at night. All in all a very pleasing stay."

"The Sparks was a very nice, comfortable motel to stay in during our time in Nashville. It was near the Grand Ole Opry and several other locations we were visiting. My biggest complaint was about their breakfast, which consisted mainly of cold cereals and various breads that could be warmed in the toaster. We usually ended up getting a breakfast biscuit from McDonald's. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay at The Sparks."

Due to the renovation the pool was inoperable and there was one elevator until Thursday. These were inconveniences that I would not have chosen if I knew there was renovations going on. "The rooms aren’t sound proof. We had noisy neighbors so there was a lot of disturbance. While the hotel’s philanthropic activities are commendable, the lack of sound proofing is not going to get us to return to the property."
