"A very beautiful hotel in a fantastic location in Alfama. The views are amazing and everything is within walking distance. The service was excellent and the staff were warm, friendly, and very helpful throughout our stay. Would definitely stay here again."

"The cleaning of the room needs to be done in a timely manner. Clean towels and sheets need to be replenished more often. Toilet paper needs to be stocked better. Coffee in the room needs to be stocked better. And vacuuming the floor better. Always hair and crumbs. Also the chocolates that were left we found bugs in them. Gross. "

"Nice stay and great room, but definitely more 4 stars than 5! No gym, no heated pool(s) and service could be better. Staff were nice, but we didn’t get any information about the area or available activities. Also the restaurant was closed for 2 nights for private event - which is fine, but then the hotel should do something for their other guests. We had to complain before we got a gesture with free food. Acceptable with 4 stars, but not 5."
