"Parking lot was nice and had awning coverage around the perimeter of the lot, but it wasn’t connected to the actual front door so for ME, traveling on a rainy day, it wasn’t really beneficial. But for someone on a sunny and hot day, it could be. Think of a drive in, like sonic or something. The car ports have coverage but you still have no coverage when you have to walk to the building. Kinda like that. We spent Mother’s day morning there before check out, the breakfast was……a hotel breakfast…...

"The staff was wonderful when I arrived and found the room I booked wasn’t suitable for me because of the stairs. Dinners were great. My only real complaint was that they didn’t serve breakfast during the week which I found very inconvenient. "

"First room I went in I had to request to be moved to a different room as it smelled like cigarettes and the sheets were dirty. Second room didn’t smell but the carpets were filthy so I kept shoes on as much as possible and bathroom did nit seem clean then I realized the next day the area around the toilet was dirty with urine. Disgusting place. "

Despite the obvious mistake, the hotel never acknowledged the issue. Instead, they reassigned me to a lower-category room at a cheaper rate and offered no solution regarding either the price difference or the condition of my clothing. "This hotel lived up to the reviews. Dana at the front desk was welcoming, informative, and efficient. My room was large, with a nice kitchenette, all the needed amenities, a very comfortable king size bed with a nice headboard, and room was attractively, decorated. Also, a great value my room rate was significantly lower than other hotels, and with higher quality Moody Street, within walking distance, has a wide variety of bars and restaurants. I highly recommend Sweet Basil for fantastic...
