"I would like a refund. I ended up paying for a room we didn't use, because the cancellation period was no longer applicable once (24 hours before arrival), and the pictures provided of the property did NOT represent what we saw and experienced.

"Very disappointing experience at Embassy Suites East Peoria Riverfront Hotel.
I chose this hotel because of the high ratings, but the room cleanliness was unacceptable. Before I could even put my belongings away, I noticed thick dust all over the outside and inside of the closet door, the bathroom counter, and even the tissue box. I attached photos and videos because the dust buildup was very obvious.

"We have been coming for over 10 years. It used to be a great hotel, which is why we continue to stay here. The last few trips have been less than desirable and i think it is time we look for another location.

showing up a half hour early, we were not allowed in one of our 2 rooms. We were not even allowed to pay for an early check in. Note: there were 4 cars in the parking lot when we arrived. For the past decade, we have never had that issue over a half hour.
