Wonderful location close to windmill, castle and 3 domes. love this cave - wind house, really nice room w large space and nice beds, pleasantly surprised it is so well maintained; you can watch the sunset, although the best location would be from the castle So you can take picture of the windmill during sunset. Btw, you really need the staff help with the luggage because of so many stairs to get to the Caves, Same with others I think.

The best location one can stay in Santorini... its almost like a fairy tale. Know that you need to haul your suitcases down the stairs, not a problem for us but we didn't know this. The house has minimum kitchen supplies (not even salt), bathroom needs upgrade the internet and TV did not work the whole time we were there. But the location and the charming house is hard to beat! I will stay again in a heart beat!

Cute little home called Wind house. clean and comfortable rooms with fully equipped kitchen and bathroom. Stunning views of ocean and the sky. Staff were friendly and helpful. Helped us with luggage and organising taxis. will happily stay here and recommend it to everyone.

A mixed experience
A mixed experience. Albert and the cleaning people were helpful, attentive and invaluable. The view from the place was everything you would want. The apartment was actually quite tired - peeling paint, a leaking toilet they couldnt fix, cracked floor tiles that look ok but make a very loud noise everytime you step on them (inconvenient at night) and a kitchen that was very old, ill equiped and smelly like the cave it is in. Not a chair to sit in - little stools and beds but no chairs bed was very hard too. Clean - but very worn down. Would strongly advise against visiting November to Mid-March - 3 restaurants open, maybe 3 souvenir shops and a couple other stores (grocery store, thank goodness). Makes for a disappointing experience regardless of the natural beauty. To our disappointment, it was very cold, rained every day and very windy - no blame on anyone for that except ourselves. Just seems like the experience isn't worth much when it is completely deserted. By the way, food was not great - and expensive too.

Dear Anonymous guest, coming in a greek island in the winter time, is a choice. Lots of people love it since it is quiet, not touristic and the rates are like 3 times lower than the summer. I am sorry it rained and it was cold and not a lot of restaurants were open, it is winter. The house you describe, i cannot figure out which one is like you describe, maybe you are confused with another property you stayed, our houses are clean and with new matresses, not smelly as you say. Please be honest in your reviews. Have a great day.

Views out of this world, nice little touches like coffee, and snacks. The toilet is not very well ventilated and can get quite damp, but the rest of the villa was great!

Gorgeous view of the Santorini SUNSET in a safe, unique and very clean place. we’ll be glad to be back. Albert and Mario guide us and was extremely helpful when we got lost walking our way back at night time. Also they help us to hold our luggage after checkout so we did enjoyed extra time at this wonderful place! Opa!

Excellent location
Location was amazing. We spent many hours on the rooftop deck admiring the sunrise, the city of Oia, the sea. Mario was an amazing host, was easily accessible via phone, helped arrange taxis and gave great recommendations.

The villa had an amazing view in the heart of Oia which had such spectacular views of the sunset, the villa was spacious and very unique. Mario showed us around the villa and gave us great recommendations for restaurants, he was an excellent host highly recommend to anyone.

We had a wonderful time staying at Villa Ariadni in Oia. Best spot to watch the sunset on the balcony. Communication was really good, Yiannis send useful information ahead of the trip and Mario was the best. Mario welcomed us when we arrived and explain everything about the villa, he is very responsive to any request and also arrange the transfer for us. Would highly recommend this place when visiting Santorini!

Es una villa con una vista espectacular, con una excelente ubicación y con lo necesario para hospedarse cómodamente. El único problema es que por su ubicación es imposible llegar en coche así que se debe tener en cuenta que si se tienen maletas grandes o gran cantidad de equipaje el trayecto es bien difícil con muchas escaleras y camino empedrado. Ellos ofrecen que una persona cargue el equipaje pero cobran 5 euros por pieza. Solo para tener en cuenta.

It was a beautiful place. We were welcomed at the Villa by Mario he was very informative and very friendly. Once we got our room it was spotless and smelled really cleaned. We had a great time in Santorini Oia, but keep in mind this place gets very busy. There are a few ships coming in a few times a day. Taxis and buses cost more than if you would ask the villa to provide you with a ride. From the port to the Villa it costs us for a van with 7 people 70€ which was not bad at all compared to the taxi which was going to be 60€ for 4 people. In Oia is where we stayed in Santorini the beaches are far so instead of taking another ride there which would take 30 minutes by car to get there, we decided to stay at the public pool which is a small pool but we enjoyed it. You have to pay a minimum of 10€ to stay there plus a 2€ to enter which they will bill you at the end. So those 12€ all together that is the minimum you have to spend rather in food or drinks and it’s per person. It doesn’t get too cheap anywhere there for 1 night and a 1 1/2 day we spent over 500€ in dinner, lunch, breakfast and souvenirs. Just keep that in mind. But very nice place. Thank you Mario we will definitely come back!

As long as you go prepared and not expecting a 5 star hotel in a cave - you are good. This is excellent location wise - 5 minutes and you are at the center. 15 or so to Ammoudi Bay. Two families stayed at the earth and the lava room. Both were good. Bathroom space is tight but again for a cave apartment we had excellent time. Great views from the property Highly recommend
