It was very annoying carrying bags from the opposite end of the hotel to go through the single door when exterior doors were right next to our room. I did not like the paint splatter dried in the tub, gray- hard to see in the photo, when I scrubbed it was coming off so they could have cleaned it. The hot water to the sink in the bathroom was turned off see photo. The coffee supplies were not fully stocked and an old coffee filter was left in the coffee maker. Opening the coffee without ripping the filter inside was a challenge (photo included). There was no signage to make...

"The property was in a perfect location for what we needed. Right across the street from Lake Erie, and Jolly Roger's. We could see the lake from our room. The second floor is stairs only, but wasn't a big deal. The breakfast was a typical continental breakfast. It was perfectly fine for what we needed. "The La Quinta Inn in Sandusky was the most unclean hotel I have ever stayed at. Upon arrival, every single table top and counter top were dirty. There were layers of drink rings, dust, and crumbs. I used an entire package of Lysol wipes cleaning the surfaces. The walls and door of the bathroom were covered in brown spots that I had to clean as well. I would not let my daughter use the restroom in such a disgusting state. The toilet didn’t flush upon arrival, so I fixed that too since it was so...

There was a truck filled with trash, looked like a place for a squatter and it was the property was completely unkept. I was scared for myself and my family and want no one to ever visit."
