"Bathroom/shower area was really cruddy. Looks like baseboards had never/ever been cleaned. Toilet seat was hanging on to toilet by a thread. Door scraped floor when opening or closing, and hinges needed oiling.
Other main issue was that air conditioner would not run continuously, but would cool for a while, and then stop. Would require a manual reset to initiate cooling again.

"Requested for an early check in to room and it was ready when we arrived. That set the mood for a wonderful stay. Room service was excellent as we needed extra pillows and towels. Very clean room, restaurant, and the fitness room. It was a very enjoyable stay. Thank you."

"Comfortable place to spend a night. It is fun to watch the planes land from your room. They stop flying when it gets quite late, so if you go to bed early and are a light sleeper, they might keep you up. We had no issues. Breakfast was tasty in the morning and the staff was friendly. We will stay again the night before we leave Portland."

Instead of removing one of the three nights they cancelled the existing booking entirely and rebooked for 2 at a date much closer to the trip which drastically increased the cost of this stay.
Room had a weird smell.

"The hospitality of this hotel is second to none. I have stayed in hotels all over the world and I have never in 40 years been so welcomed and so appreciated and so helped even with the minor things like asking for a pen and they gave me a handful.
If I ever traveled to Vancouver again, which I’m sure I will I will never stay anywhere else. I used to like the Heisman Lodge, but this place is nicer rooms and better hospitality."
