"I would not recommend staying at Quality Inn Mason Near Kings Island.
I booked the property through Expedia for a multiple night stay. We flew in on a redeye and checked into the hotel. Being a non-smoking property, the first thing we noticed was a individual smoking outside our room pacing back and forth. You know the type that makes you feel uneasy. This went on for a good 30 minutes.
Once I entered the room, I noticed the primary light didnt work. I tried the switch, expected the light and had no luck making it work. I proceeded to bring in my bags, went into the bathroom to wash my hands found the soap on top of the plastic wrapper, already used. Okay, kinda a cleanliness issue that bugged my wife but I continued to settle. My wife was very tired so she laid on the bed to rest. I knew we needed to leave soon so I checked on the alarm clock to set it. It didnt work. Now I am beginning to get annoyed about the quality of the place. I thought I'd get some coffee while my wife slept. This is when I found the coffee maker was absolutely disgusting. The microwave kept beeping every 5 minutes or so. This is when I went upto the office and asked to cancel the reservation and leave. The office manager asked why, I started detailing the issues. He told me I had to pay for 3 of the 5 nights. I was shocked. He said it was because of how I booked it. Major strike against Expedia. Manager did step it down to 1 night. Later I found they charged my card 6 nights and deposit. "
