"This beautiful hotel is an homage to the craftsmanship of the past. It is a welcomed glimpse into the past where beauty and details were as important as function. The lobby is a grand first impression. The rooms have very high ceilings that give a feeling of openness in the rooms. The beds are very comfortable, but a little small for two adults. The rooms have a coffee maker and lots of little extras like makeup remover and a shower cap. We enjoyed our stay back somewhere in time."
"The hotel was nicely renovated but I have a big problem with the sink being in the foyer. Had to prop the bathroom door up against one of the beds to keep it open to have more room with the toilet. A little cluster phobic. The curtains block the air conditioner and ‘cool’ the windows but not the room. Had to prop up the curtains during the night to cool the room. If they shorten the curtains this would be an easy fix.
