"We specially booked a 2 bedroom apartment, which was confirmed in our Expedia booking. When we arrived it was a 1 bed with a sofa bed. This aside, the kitchen cupboard was off the wall, the bath was cracked, the tiles were broken and so was the dressing table and mirror. We communicated all of this to the host and their only answer, was that they would cancel the booking (as we are stood in the apartment) and give us a refund. "I stayed for 2 nights and found the room was very clean and comfortable. I did read reviews of people saying the beds were small but I had no trouble and I'm 5ft 10 and weigh 15st. The air con was much needed too, especially in the heat we have had/having. Location wise is fantastic. Right next to the underground and a 24/7 supermarket. "The room was extremely tiny. No wardrobe or chest of drawers. Because of how tiny it was, it must be hard to clean properly, and it shows. Despite cleaners coming every day, the floor and shelves were utterly dusty and dirty. The bed was very uncomfortable, as were the pillows. However, the hotel is very close to Paddington station and Hyde Park; at least there’s that, but I am very confident this is the first and last time I’ll stay at Marina Hotel."
