"Nice Victorian building, large clean rooms. The additional meal package I paid for was rather miss sold in that it was not what we expected. Evening dinner food was very forgettable and not of particularly good quality - a disappointment having paid extra for it. Breakfast was a lot better. In hindsight we would have ate out for dinner as felt conned by the package and food was poor. Dinning room was pleasant."

"I and the wife spend a weekend away for out anniversary to walk around some of lovely Yorkshire. The staff at the Gamekeepers are incredible proud of their establishment, they were always kind courteous and helpful. Special compliments for Dan, he was always helpful communitive and friendly. "Room was in good condition however it was a disabled room that was not advised on booking. There was an intermittent unpleasant smell coming from the bathroom. Seeing the disabled room I immediately requested a room change but here was not much enthusiasm as we had a 2 night stay and was told the hotel was full the following night so not much they could do and on the first night there were currently no other made up rooms.
